Woman Scout Cookie season is here. Here’s where you can purchase a field (or five).
Plus, there is a fresh cookie that is gluten-free the lineup.
It’s time and energy to swap your gingerbread for Thin Mints. On Tuesday, the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts established its cookie period, a yearly initiative that helps Girl Scouts raise cash for travel, outside activities, and charity.
This year the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts are selling Caramel Chocolate Chip cookies, a new gluten-free, peanut-free option in addition to Caramel deLites, Lemonades, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Shortbread, Girl Scout S’mores, Thanks-A-Lot, and Thin Mints. Similar to the other tastes, the brand new cookies will be offered for $5 per package.
Two different manufacturers — ABC Bakers and minimal Brownie Bakers — make Girl Scout Cookies. The Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts usage ABC Bakers, which is the reason why Caramel deLites are referred to as Samoas in other regions of the national country, and exactly why Peanut Butter Patties are also called Tagalongs. Scouts in Central and Western Massachusetts use minimal Brownie Bakers.
“ABC Bakers simply happened to be providing a fresh gluten-free cookie this 12 months,” said Michelle Juralewicz, the marketing and sales communications supervisor for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts, associated with limited-edition Caramel Chocolate mail order brides Chip.
You might find some Girl Scouts ringing your doorbell or hanging outside your regional food store, here you will find the upcoming formal places of cookie product sales into the Boston area.
